I have always loved to make cards and I have always wanted a way to take them to the next level. Well one day while at work as a paraprofessional in a small elementary school, a colleague brought in some stamps and ink pads and other items that were in her mother’s basement and she was giving them away! These were all wood mounted stamps, but they were all in great condition. I thought it was the answer to my prayer. I took some home – a lot really! It took my card making to the next level, so much so I had to learn more about this company called Stampin’ Up!
After looking them up online and watching some great tutorials on YouTube I WAS HOOKED! I became a demonstrator right away to get the discount, I never thought about making it my business. Then as I became more and more involved, I thought what the heck and here I am a year and a half later starting my home-based business.
I love Stampin’ Up products because there is so much you can do with them, even as a beginner, they have so many suites and bundles along with coordinating papers and ink and the embellishments…you just can’t go wrong. I always say there are no mistakes, just happy accidents!
I will be posting some pictures of my cards on here and I will be doing some tutorials for some of them. I hope they inspire you to get creative! Most of these cards can be done with any set or bundle you purchase, it’s the technique that you’ll be looking for.
